Good morning Jon, thank you for your reply to my review. Much I don’t recognise, including your character accusations. I’ll not stoop to there. Suffice to note that I did not criticise my local garage, in which I have full confidence in their work and professionalism. Notwithstanding that baseless accusations serve to deflect scrutiny on to the customer, the original problem was likely misdiagnosed or inadequately traced. The fact that the same problem reappeared approximately two months after the car was fixed, bears testimony to that. The dissonance between my partners and mine pre and second post purchase experience, not to mention the fault itself was what I was concentrating on. As willingly proffered, in my review, the sales experience and first post sales experience were both exemplary. I have no more to say, as this current post purchase experience, has been upsetting and is something my partner and I want to put behind us. Thank you. Very best wishes to you for the future.

Wow,best car buying experience I've ever had!! Great pressure free salesman,carefully sourced cars,over the moon with my car,fresh oil,new timing chain, 1 yr drive train warranty,he even put half a tank of fuel in the car.He should run a UK training school that all CEO s of dealerships must attend before they can sell cars.If all car sales were operated like JVS,it would be a better world.Bought a 50 grand Mercedes from an all glass state of the art dealership and left feeling robbed 2 years ago,not at JVS,you leave feeling satisfied and valued.MW

The only reason I'd travel a 400+ miles round trip to purchase a car I'd not fully seen was because of the trust I bestowed in John. Having seen some shocking mini examples for sale elsewhere I saw a marketplace post for a mini that caught my eye. After a lengthy telephone call voicing my worries and concerns of what i had seen, John explained what he does and the cars that he sources, he is a true mini enthusiast. He listened, he understood and went the extra mile in going round the car on a video call and reassured me of the quality of his minis. I put all my trust and faith in John alone and purchased the car. When I arrived to collect the car it exceeded my expectation. There was no feeling of being rushed, and his attention to detail with the whole sale is faultless. I brought a beautiful Mini countryman all4. Honestly I didn’t know that much about the newer mini’s, but Jon was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions confidently. My car was a 19year old cooper which I loved, but I took this countryman out for a test drive and everything just felt right with it. I instantly fell in love with it. Mini’s are in my blood and my chapter continues with my new countryman. Honestly if you are looking for a Mini, Jon is definitely the person you need to see!!
